Welcome to SADC 3P Network
What we do
The SADC 3P Network was initially established to provide assistance to the Member States, DFIs and Public Private Partnership (PPP) practitioners in the region to deliver bankable PPP projects. However, it has become clear that it had to play a role in actual PPP project development and become an advisory hub for PPPs in the region. In fact, the role of capacity building in isolation from actually engaging in PPP projects fails to meet the objectives of the 3P Network as knowledge that is not used, is often lost.
Thus, our strategy defines facilitation of bankable project preparation and development as its core business, whilst still supporting capacity building initiatives, institutional and policy reforms, providing advisory services, and reaching financial sustainability for the SADC 3P Network. This process does not eschew training but rather builds skills, which can be redeployed in the region, creating a cadre of PPP experts.
